The Gundam Base Limited 1/100 MGEX RX-0 Unicorn Gundam Ver.TWC

MGEX 1/100 Unicorn Gundam Ver.TWC — The Gundam Base Limited

Experience the iconic RX-0 Unicorn Gundam in the exclusive Ver.TWC edition, inspired by the life-sized Unicorn Gundam statue at DiverCity Tokyo Plaza.

Based on the MGEX 1/100 Unicorn Gundam Ver.Ka, this special The Gundam Base Limited version reproduces details and markings inspired by the real-life Unicorn Gundam statue. The kit includes water-slide decals featuring markings based on the life-sized statue, while newly designed backpack vernier parts recreate the appearance of the actual statue.

One of the key features of the MGEX Unicorn Gundam is its advanced LED lighting system. With button operation, the eyes and head main camera can illuminate, while the Psycho-Frame can glow in red or green. The system can also reproduce dynamic lighting effects with changes in brightness.

The kit incorporates Bandai's Flexible LED Sheet, allowing the Unicorn Gundam to combine transformation, articulation and lighting effects in a highly compact design. This enables the model to reproduce its iconic transformation between Unicorn Mode and Destroy Mode while maintaining the internal lighting system.

The shield's clear parts can also be illuminated remotely using lead wires, allowing the shield to glow even when positioned away from the main body.

A dedicated MS Cage is included. It houses the lighting system's battery compartment, provides an adjustable support structure and can also hold the model's weapons, making it an impressive display stand for the completed Unicorn Gundam.

Three AA alkaline batteries are required for the lighting functions and are sold separately.
